The right conduct in the event of an accident.
You should always be prepared for a possible accident – which may mitigate the damage should the worst happen. The table describes what you should do after an accident in five steps:

| 1 | Put on our safety vest, secure the accident site and give first aid. |
| 2 | Alert the emergency service or police – if necessary. |
| 3 | Enter accident data in the accident log. |
| 4 | Take photos of vehicles involved in the accident and of the accident site. |
| 5 | Call the Mercedes-Benz service hotline , report the accident and keep your vehicle documents to hand. Mercedes-Benz Accident Assistance will arrange for your vehicle to be taken to the nearest Mercedes-Benz service outlet. |
